  33. The server may abend when unloading NLMs, such as BOOTPD.NLM (and others). 
  34. Abend types have been seen such as GPPE or Invalid Opcode.

  38. Apply CLIB.NLM v3.12g from the LIBUP3.EXE file.

  76. This Server Library Update comes with an installation utility that will
  77. install the appropriate version of the NetWare 3.x and 4.x NLMs into the
  78. SYS:SYSTEM directory of one or more servers.
  79.  
  80. To run the installation utility, type INSTALL.

  87. The previous version of this library package LIBUP1.EXE contained:

  89. AFTER311.NLM 3.0, revision H for NetWare 3.11 and 3.12 was enhanced in its
  90. support for internationalization and NetWare alerts.
  91.  
  92. CLIB.NLM 3.12, revision D for NetWare 3.11, NetWare SFT III, and NetWare 3.12
  93. was improved in several areas.

  95. ■  Errors in Queue Management Services in handling job or form types and
  96. memory corruption while servicing a queue were corrected.

  98. ■  Problems in handling connections and deleting files on remote servers were
  99. corrected.

  101. ■  Service Advertising Protocol interfaces were fixed for SFT III IO engine
  102. and to include additional error checking.

  104. ■  The IPX address error handing was improved.

  106. ■  Several server statistic functions were corrected.

  108. ■  Improvements were made for internationalization, as well as memory
  109. allocation and debugging.

  111. ■  A deadlock condition that may occur between NetWare SFT III servers and a
  112. bug with shutting down a NetWare SFT III server was corrected.

  116. CLIB.NLM 4.01, revision B for NetWare 4.01 was also improved in several areas.

  118. ■  Improvements were made in console input functions, resource handling, and
  119. name space support.

  121. ■  Several server statistic functions were corrected.

  123. ■  Enhanced interface with DSAPI.NLM by improving support for multiple
  124. Directory Services users.

  126. The previous version of this library package LIBUP2.EXE contained:

  128. CLIB.NLM 3.12, revision F for NetWare 3.11, NetWare SFT III, and NetWare 3.12
  129. was improved in several areas.
  130.  
  131. NLMs that get time and date information from the CLIB.NLM file will get
  132. incorrect time and date.  This is particularly acute for database servers such
  133. as Gupta and Oracle.  The behavior is as follows:
  134.  
  135. 1.  As the time changes from 23-OCT-1993 23:59:59 to 00:00:00 24-OCT-1993, the
  136. time and date obtained from CLIB.NLM will be pushed FORWARD one hour.
  137.  
  138. 2.  As the time changes from 30-OCT-1993 23:59:59 to 00:00:00 31-OCT-1993, the
  139. time and date obtained from CLIB.NLM will be pushed BACKWARD one hour.
  140.      
  141. CLIB.NLM 4.01, revision D for NetWare 4.01 was also improved to correct the
  142. following abend message.

  144. When NLMs such as PSERVER are unloaded, the server will abend with the
  145. following message:

  149.   Abend: SERVER-4.00-362: CloseScreen called with a screen that
  150.          is still being used.

  157. AFTER311.NLM 4.00a for NetWare 3.11 and 3.12 was split into the AFTER311.NLM
  158. and A3112.NLM files.  The Locale functions remain in the AFTER311.NLM file.
  159.  
  160. A3112.NLM 4.00 for NetWare 3.11 and 3.12 contains the NWSNUT functions
  161. previously included in AFTER311.NLM.
  162.  
  163. CLIB.NLM 3.12, revision F for NetWare 3.11, NetWare SFT III, and NetWare 3.12
  164. was improved in several areas.  Server statistics were added as well as
  165. support for FS Hooks.  A variety of fixes are included.
  166.  
  167. MATHLIB.NLM 3.12 for NetWare 3.11 and 3.12 is included as a library package. 
  168. No changes have been made since NetWare 3.12.

  180. revision.
